FACILITIES
The Qingxing Lou building is a 3.5-story tulou, with newly-renovated interiors, that can accommodate up to 50 people for overnight stay.
The living conditions are similar to staying at a rural sleepaway camp; the accommodations are simple and rustic, with modern amenities such as western toilets. The original architecture of the tulou has been disturbed as little as possible, and every effort has been made to renovate the building in a sustainable way. There is no heat or AC, but the temperature in the tulou stays comfortable year-round due to the site and design of the earthen building.
Guests should come prepared for rural conditions. For more information on preparing for your stay, please see the Packing List under Resources for Guests.
